Basic ideas for the "MusikTalente" competition.

The "MusikTalente" competition, which was set up in 2004 as a private initiative, proves a

growing resonance in its importance inside and outside the German borders.

A solid network was created through master courses awarded and professors involved

to promote young talents.

"MusikTalente" will take place for the 23rd time this year and is intended to help awaken the musical imagination of our children and young people.

In the background stands the conviction that musical education should be seen as a neutral

element of general education.

In this way, essential qualities such as the ability to concentrate,

mutual listening, a sense for beauty and body awareness is developed.
